Claimed on the Frontier by Jane Henry
Joining me on my blog today is Jane Henry with her new release Tamed on the Frontier. I have just finished reading it myself and I loved it. The writing style is unique and there is something about the tone that actually reminds of the narrative voice from 'To Kill a Mockingbird'. I enjoyed Aaron as a strong dominant lead. You know exactly where you stand with him and though stern at times he is not unfeeling. Pearl, it did take me a little longer to figure out, she grew on me as I realized though a strong frontiers woman (she endures the hardships of travel with out complaining) but has a need to please. The two characters balance each other out as they laugh, tease and learn to love each other. But don't take my word for it, have a peak at the snippet below.
Blurb
Pearl has fended for herself since she was orphaned at a young age, but on the night she meets Aaron Stanley her life is thrown into chaos. The handsome pioneer and his
brothers are headed west to stake their claim on the frontier, and when an unfortunate turn of events leaves Pearl without a roof over her head it is Aaron who comes to her rescue, offering to bring her along provided that she agrees to mind him.
